This course will focus on the concepts of heterocyclic chemistry such as introduction, synthesis and reaction of five and six membered rings containing one heteroatom such as pyrrole, thiophene, furan and pyridine etc.
Moreover the course include the oxidation of different systems such as oxidation of hydrocarbons, oxidation of oxygen containing compounds, oxidation of nitrogen containing compound and oxidation of sulphur containing compounds.
The course also focus on the reduction of different unctional groups and classes of compounds such as reduction of hydrocarbons, Hydrogenolysis, reduction of aldehydes and ketones,
reduction of Epoxides, Reduction of Acids and their derivatives, Reduction of system containing Nitrogen and Sulphur.
